In this third episode of ‘À la salle des profs’, Didier Snoeck, associate professor at the Department of Building, Architecture and Urban Planning (BATir) of ULB, presents innovations in building materials and techniques. He explains how these advances are helping to reduce the environmental impact of the building sector, one of the most polluting in the world.

Which sustainable solutions can transform the way we build and to be more respectful of the environment?

‘À la salle des profs’ is an initiative launched in 2022 by the École polytechnique de Bruxelles to raise awareness and disseminate knowledge about socio-environmental issues. In this series of podcasts, ULB experts share their research on key issues in the socio-ecological transition. These interviews offer a plurality of perspectives and highlight the research being conducted at ULB.
